Personally, during the match, there were moments when my performance dropped, impacting speed and effectiveness.

Each match has its own difficulties. The upcoming match against Japan is a major challenge, but we will try to play our best for the Vietnamese flag on our chests."

Meanwhile, head coach Mai Đức Chung frankly admitted: "First, the hot weather greatly affected the players' physical condition. Second, we lost composure; at some moments we could not maintain focus, leading to poor coordination and inaccurate ball passing. These factors caused us difficulties in the match.

In the second half, the Vietnamese team played better, creating more opportunities. However, due to inaccurate ball placement and lack of默契 coordination, the attacking plays were not highly effective.

Additionally, players like Thanh Nhã, Vạn Sự, Dương Thị Vân were also affected by the hot weather, their stamina declined, resulting in a clear drop in energy."

From the Chinese Taipei side, coach Prasobchoke believed the Vietnamese women's team lost focus due to the hot weather, leading to errors in the only conceded goal.

"The weather today was quite hot and that affected both teams. The Vietnamese women's team is a strong collective, playing very systematically and with good organization. They have participated in the World Cup, so clearly they are a very difficult opponent to defeat.

I think the heat caused the Vietnamese players to lose focus at times, and that was the reason for their only goal conceded."

The 0-1 defeat pushed the Vietnamese team down to third place with 3 points after 2 matches, goal difference 0, behind Chinese Taipei in head-to-head comparison)

In the final match, the Vietnamese women's team will face Japan. If India earns less than 3 points in their next two group stage matches, the Vietnamese women's team will at least remain in third place.

The path to the quarter-finals as the best third-place team remains open, as the third-place teams in groups A and B currently have no points.
