Identify the 14th player called up to the Vietnam U19 team

Defender Dinh Xuan Khai of Nam Dinh is the 14th name confirmed to join the Vietnam U19 team.

Nam Dinh Club just announced that defender Dinh Xuan Khai will join the Vietnam U19 team during this March gathering. This is the 14th player named in the Vietnam U19 roster, as many clubs have previously announced their players being called up to the national team.

PVF Youth Football Training Center – Ministry of Public Security just announced that 5 players and 1 coach have been called up to the Vietnam U19 team for the first training session of 2026. The participants include Coach Nguyen Ngoc Duy and players Luong Van Phuong, Nguyen Duc Nhat, Nguyen Trong Duc Vu (PVF Club), along with Le Minh Nhat and Tran Gia Hung (PVF Youth Club - CAND).

Notably, this is the first time young players Luong Van Phuong and Nguyen Trong Duc Vu have been called up to a national youth team level. Being given this opportunity in this gathering is seen as an important step in their development, following their positive performances in recent youth tournaments.

Meanwhile, SLNA Club contributed a large contingent with 1 coach and 6 players called up, including Coach Nguyen Hong Viet and players Hoang Minh Hoi, Nguyen Tan Minh, Tran Dong Thuc, Bach Trong Duong, Vuong Quoc Dung, and Tran Quoc Hoa.

These are also key contributors who played a major role in SLNA U19 winning the 2026 National U19 Championship after 20 years of waiting. This achievement continues to affirm SLNA's position as one of Vietnam's top youth training centers over many years.

Additionally, SHB Da Nang Youth Football Training Center also has two players called up: Nguyen Cong Vi Nhan and Nguyen Thanh Vinh. All players in this list have shown outstanding performances in the 2026 National U19 Finals. According to plan, Vietnam U19 will train from March 16 to 29 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (Hanoi), preparing for the Southeast Asia U19 tournament scheduled for May.
